Our Featured Junior Rider of the Month is Dimitra (Mimi) Kanellakos!

Mimi's energized spirit can be felt and heard when she is in the barn. Mimi began riding at Lancers 7 years ago and has participated in just about everything we do. Mimi takes part in fundraisers, Lancer days, horse shows, Musical Ride, Salmon River Camp, and is the co-head of the Junior Executive Community Outreach.

We are especially excited to celebrate Mimi on the heels of our very successful No-Stirrups-November fundraiser, where she generated the most donations out of all of our members.

Mimi is a friend to everyone and appreciates that people are always willing to lend a hand and work together to get the job done. Mimi has recently started training to become a stable hand, and has started part leasing Bear who she says is her favorite horse because “he’s always so loving and always happy to see people”.

We have truly enjoyed watching Mimi grow up at Lancers. She has become a great role model for other riders, and continues to grow in that role.
