Our featured horse for the month of November is Frost!

Frost is the latest addition to the Horses of Halifax, having joined the herd in August. He is four years old and the currently the youngest horse in the barn. Frost is a big beautiful Canadian Warmblood, who still has some growing to do. He has a lovely nonchalant attitude about life, and finds living in the city to be stimulating without being overwhelming. Due to his age and size he will be a mount for more experienced riders for a while, but so far has risen to the occasion for anything we have asked of him. He shows great potential for the show ring, and we're excited to show him off to the NS equestrian community next season. In the meantime he is hard to miss playing with his friends out in morning turnout - as he is the one who never seems to stop playing.
