Our Featured Adult Rider of the month is Jessica Francis!

Jessica has been riding at Lancers in the therapeutic riding program for two years. Every time she walks through the barn doors she feels the magic of the horses. “The horses bring me Joy and calm”. Jessica has always dreamed about riding horses and never thought she would be able to, until she found the Lancers Therapeutic Riding Program. 

When Jessica comes to the barn she enjoys petting all of the horses. Her favourite horse is Bud, and when she is riding she loves when the horse speeds up! Jessica is very teachable and always eager to learn. 

Jessica perfectly captures the power of horses and how they help us all in so many ways. “The horses help me because they are my friends and they listen to me. They make me feel happy when I ride.” 

Jessica plans to continue riding and developing more skills ot be able to ride with independently in the future. We lookforward to seeing her skills grow
