Our featured horse of the month for December is Ollie!

Ollie is an adorable large pony who is 12 years old and has been at Lancers for seven years.

Ollie loves being fussed over in the barn, and is well known for being Lancers’ longest equine resident Bud (who also rules the herd here)’s best friend.

Ollie is a safe but challenging mount for riders of all levels and is enjoyed by our youngest riders and our smaller adults alike. Sometimes Ollie seems like he’s putting as little effort as he can get away with into his rides, but he always brightens up when he gets a chance to do some jumping. Ollie has been a part of our Musical Ride, participates in Equine Supported Wellness programs and spends many summer weekends at horse shows. He has competed in everything from pre-short-stirrup hunters to the .90m jumpers.
