Our Featured Horse of the Month is Dublin

Dublin came to Lancers last summer and immediately won many hearts over. His show name is “Be Free” – which is a feeling so often experienced while getting lost in a moment on horseback. He came to us with plenty of experience, having competed, in his past, in the pony hunters as well as having a solid dressage background. He has so much to teach, and many of our riders have already seen big improvements in their riding thanks to Dublin. Dublin is very sweet to have around and was able to step right into lessons with some of our youngest riders. He is one of our smallest ponies at Lancers, and so spends most of his time with kids, but we do have a handful of lucky adults who are small enough for a turn on Dublin. Dublin will stand for long periods of time while children fuss over him, but he doesn’t love to stand still while being ridden. He loves to go and has one of the bounciest trots in the barn. We look forward to having another medium pony to compete with in the Prince Philip Games, which will be a brand new experience for Dublin this spring.
