Our Featured Horse of the Month is Jack
Jack is a relatively new addition to the herd having been with us for just over 6 months. He is a beautiful black gelding and is a Friesian-Halflinger cross. Jack is only five years old, but has an outstanding temperament and while he does still require training from our more experienced riders he is safe enough to be used occasionally with our younger riders. When we heard we were getting a horse named Jack we thought it only fitting to call his show name Zeggelaar after our longstanding farrier who has been keeping our horses sound for the better part of thirty years. Jack has made fast friends with Mato our other black horse in the barn and they can frequently been seen side by side in turn out or playing catch with a pylon. Jack has already gone to off property horse shows and was even in our musical ride this year. His joyful character is a wonderful addition to the barn and we can’t wait to see where this beautiful young horse will take some of our riders.
