Our Featured Adult Rider of the Month is Nola Sullivan!
Nola has been a Lancer for two years. She started riding as a fun way to be active but now sees Lancers as so much more. “You build relationships with the horses, your classmates, and everyone in the barn. You are physically active, bettering yourself, and you absolutely can not think of anything else when you are on the horse. When you are done there is a euphoric feeling that is hard to describe and very addictive.”
Nola Loves all of the Lancers' horses and their different personalities, however, Bella, who recently retired was her favorite. Nola described Bella as “an old shoe” because they were comfortable and worked well together. Nola is now enjoying riding new horses and learning from each of them.
As an adult rider, Nola has seen the impact Lancers has had on the younger riders “It is awesome to see the young children willingly work with a purpose and gain confidence in their knowledge strengths and abilities as they grow older.”
We are so pleased to hear that Nola has experienced immense value from the horses, lessons, and community at Lancers, and we look forward to many more years with Nola at Lancers!
