Our Featured Horse for the month of October is Casey!

We are so grateful to have Casey join the Horses of Halifax herd. Casey is a 17 year old Belgian Warmblood who comes to us as a seasoned show horse. We were so pleased that his family thought he might be a good fit at Lancers, and he has certainly proven that he is since his arrival in September. Since moving to Lancers Casey has had to adjust to group turnout, where he has made some new horse friends, and he is now being ridden by a number of different riders at various levels. He is very polite with the public and seems to enjoy the attention.

Casey loves to work, and is excellent at his job. He could do flatwork all day long, and he is quite happy teaching kids the ropes over lower jumps. Casey is tall and slender and very athletic. Every Lancer who has ridden him so far loves him. Welcome to the herd, Casey!
