Our Featured Junior Rider of the Month is Hannah Langille!

Hannah’s first experience at Lancers was in 2015 when she and her two older sisters participated in a summer camp. After that her older sister Breagh was able to join the Junior beginner course and Hannah would come to the barn for all of her sisters' lessons, Hannah said she could not get enough of it! So finally in 2018, Hannah was able to join the beginner course. It's been 5 years and Hannah can still never get enough of being at the barn! Hannah is at the barn most days and takes part in everything; she is a rider in the Musical Ride, competes at horse shows, helps out with sprucing up the barn days and August clean up, volunteers for hay and shavings deliveries, and works at Lancers as a casual Stablehand.

Hannah’s favorite horse is Rupert. “I can count on him to make me smile with the help of his quirky personality”, (this is one of the greatest things about Rupert - but it also doesn't take much to make Hannah smile) Rupert and Hannah make a great team showing in the jumper ring! Hannah also enjoys riding and learning from Bear, Merlin, and Giquau. Hannah loves the whole Lancer community (Humans and horses), she is grateful for all of the support and describes the barn as a second home. Hannah has made many friendships here that will last a lifetime.

All Lancer riders are expected to help out around the barn with extra chores, but few do it with as much enthusiasm as Hannah. Hannah is a lovely rider whose hard work is paying off as she further developes her skills. Keep up the great work, Hannah!
