Our featured horse for the month of May is Oakley!

Oakley is the newest Horse of Halifax. She has only been at Lancers for one month but has become a fast favourite! She is a beautiful five year old draft cross mare. Oakley is still green (inexperienced) and will provide a wonderful opportunity for some of our more experienced riders to learn how to work with and train a young horse.

Oakley loves attention and is curious and playful about all the new sights and sounds in the big city! She has already established herself as top mare in her small turnout group with her strong personality. Oakley is great to work with but also likes to test her boundaries so can be a challenging partner. We look forward to watching Okley grow here at lancers and help others to grow along with her.
