Our Featured Horse of the Month is Giquau!

Giquau came to Lancers as a 4 year old and has now been here for nearly a decade. In that time we have seen Giquau evolve from a flighty strong horse that only our most advanced riders could handle to an incredibly versatile, dependable lesson horse for so many. Throughout all of this he has always had the loveliest of characters. Giquau enjoys learning and has now become a most patient of teachers.

Giquau has competed across the province, showing in the jumper ring successfully helping riders learn the ropes. Giquau is also a part of our Musical Ride and allows his rider to carry lance even though it makes him a little nervous. One of Giquaus favourite activities is running through the sprinklers in the summer.
